About the Author




Ruskin Bond is one of the most celebrated and prolific writers of India. He has written over 500 books and stories for children and adults, spanning various genres such as fiction, non-fiction, poetry, memoirs, and essays. He is known for his simple and elegant style of writing that captures the beauty and charm of nature, childhood, nostalgia, and human relationships. Ruskin Bond was born in Kasauli, Himachal Pradesh, in 1934. He spent his childhood in Jamnagar, Dehradun, New Delhi, and Shimla. He moved to England at the age of 17 to pursue his writing career.
